Problem
Users Struggle to Find a Recipe App That's Easy to Navigate and Offers Diverse, Flexible Recipes.
The problem is that users struggle with finding a recipe app that is both easy to navigate and offers a wide variety of recipes tailored to the ingredients they have on hand, while also providing flexibility in ingredient substitutions and clear nutritional information. This gap in user experience leads to frustration and decreased engagement with the app.
Solution
1
Recipe-Matcher
A Mobile app that allows users to input the ingredients they have on hand and instantly receive tailored recipe suggestions.
2
Time-Saver

The platform would save users time, reduce food waste, and enhance their culinary experience.
Simplifier
This tool should prioritize quick, easy-to-follow recipes that still offer a fine dining experience.

Iterations
The initial prototype focused on a simple interface where users could type in ingredients. Through user testing, it was clear that:

-
The prototype supported user interaction by allowing them to engage with other users’ recipes, fostering a sense of community and shared interest.

-
Users could easily input their recipes and search for others, facilitating a straightforward method to explore and manage their culinary creations.

-
Features for saving and deleting recipes were implemented, giving users control over their recipe collection and ensuring an organized and personalized experience.
